Satellite measurements, meteorological observations or forcing products, field measurements, and independent records retain their native spatial and temporal scales.

Model inputs

Project geometry, dates, soil properties, rooting assumptions, management information, and configured parameters define the simulation setup.

Model outputs

ET components, soil-water states, modeled irrigation, resistance behavior, and simulated temperatures are calculated quantities.

03 · Temporal simulation

Continuous hourly accounting

Irrigation, rainfall, transpiration, soil evaporation, drainage, and root-zone depletion continue between satellite observations. BAITSSS represents these processes with an hourly water and energy balance.
